Well Woman Screening In Dublin
Many women choose to have this screen every few years just as a kind of health check. It depends on the age of the lady and her current health, what examinations and tests are carried out.
It may be also relevant to a woman who is thinking of conceiving in the near future, who is attempting to lose weight or who is experiencing menopausal symptoms. If a woman has booked in for this screen, then she will first be asked to complete a medical questionnaire in the waiting room. Then the doctor will go through a complete history, examination and take relevant tests after discussion with the woman.
Usually the results are followed up with a phone call a week later, and we can also post out a copy.
Sexual health screening
The doctors can carry out all relevant blood and swab tests as required at the practice. Results usually take about a week to come back to the doctor.
All the doctors hold Family Planning Certificates and have a wide range of experience in advising and prescribing from the wide range of products currently available today, including emergency contraception.
